Do you know an outstanding VCH staff member or physician who you’d like to see recognized for their work? The BC Quality Awards celebrate extraordinary work in our health system. Award categories represent the four areas of care, an outstanding leader,  an Everyday Champion and – new this year – a Quality Culture Trailblazer. Anyone can nominate. The nomination deadline is July 14, 2015.

About the awards

Launched in 2009, the awards recognize individuals, teams and facilities that have improved the quality of care in BC. They also raise the overall profile of efforts to improve quality throughout the province.

Winners will be awarded a $2,500 sponsorship to help support or disseminate learning from their projects, and will be presented plaques in a ceremony atHealth Talks on February 24, 2016.

Each winner will also receive complimentary registration for the Quality Forum on February 25 and 26, 2016. Winners of the four initiative-based awards will be invited to deliver presentations at the Quality Forum.
