VIDEO: How does engagement link to teamwork?
Engagement means something different to each of us. That’s why we’re asking staff across VCH to share what engagement means to them for a chance to win a pop-up party for your team. Many of the comments we’ve received so far show that engagement is embedded in everything we do at VCH. It’s not about what we do – but how we do our work.

Chelsea, Home Health Occupational Therapist, explained that engagement is about teamwork by saying, “It’s about the way we share work and value each other’s opinion – we nurture each other’s differences so that we can learn from one another.” For Chelsea, engagement is achieved at the team level by working together despite the differences that set us apart.
