The VCH Community Engagement Department is delighted to share our 2014-2015 Annual Report with you. It was a busy year full of interesting projects – 39 in total where we consulted with patients and family members.

Our projects and work logged over 1300 hours of volunteer time. We experienced a 34% growth in CEAN (Community Engagement Advisory Network) members, along with a 33% increase in the number of CEANs sitting on VCH Advisory Committees. We also celebrated some big successes, in September of last year the CE Team received a Core Values Award from the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) for their work with CEAN, in addition to taking home the award for Project of the Year. We are excited to continue working with staff to build capacity for you to engage with patients and family members in order to improve the quality of care we provide.
