Want to share your work with over 950 attendees who are passionate about improving health care? Submit an abstract for Quality Forum 2017! You may choose to deliver a rapid fire presentation or display a storyboard on any topic related to providing better care for patients.

What to Expect at Quality Forum

Now in its 6th year, Quality Forum is an annual event featuring presentations and interactive workshops on a variety of topics related to improving quality across the continuum of care. In addition, the Forum features plenary speakers, a debate, field trips, and our annual evening event, Health Talks. We’ll be sharing more details soon!

How to Submit Your Abstract

It’s easy- there are four simple steps to submitting your abstract! (Click here for more details!)

Step 1: Choose your project

You can submit abstracts on any topics related to providing better care for patients. Projects can be ideas or works in progress, and they do not have to be considered successful – failures provide valuable learning opportunities, too! Step 2: Is it a Sprout or a Seed?

• Seeds are ideas that have just been planted. They are promising practices and emerging improvement methods that are too young to have results.
• Your initiative is a Sprout if it is underway or complete with results, “how-to” tips and lessons that you can share with participants.

Step 3: Choose one or both presentation styles

• Rapid Fire Presentations: Share your work in a 10 minute presentation, followed by an 8 minute Q&A period. You can use slides or other media during your oral presentation.
• Storyboards: Display a 44″ by 44″ poster during the Forum. Network with other participants and receive feedback during the Storyboard Reception on March 2.

Step 4: Submit your abstract(s)

Complete the online submission form once for each abstract. You can submit as many abstracts as you like, and don’t forget to view the abstract selection criteria first. Abstracts must be written in English, no more than 300 words, and submitted by September 9, 2016.
