Hot Springs and hot topics: 16th Education session on blood transfusion issues
This year’s Joint Education Session on Transfusion Medicine Issues for technologists, nurses and physicians will be held in Harrison Hot Springs on September 29, 2016. Topics this year will centre around the patient – join us as we discuss transfusion related patient-based case studies, patient blood management, getting blood to where it can best be used, and supporting patients with chronic product use. VCH’s Shelley Feenstra, Transfusion Medicine Service Clinical Resource, will be co-presenting a session on Blood Management at this event.
This full day session is free for all participants. Attendees can join in person at Harrison Hot Springs, or over webinar and teleconference.
Registration is now open through September 2 for both in-person and webinar attendance. All participants receive a Certificate of Attendance to support on-going education requirements for technologists, nurses and physicians.
