Do you need access to a vehicle for work-related trips?

Great news! The Lower Mainland cealth care organizations are now business members of Modo car share. All Vancouver Coastal Health, Fraser Health, Providence Health Care and Provincial Health Services Authority and departments/programs are invited to register for a Department Business Account with Modo for their work-related trips.

What is Modo?

Modo is two-way carsharing (vehicles must be picked up and returned to the same spot), located in 14 cities across the Lower Mainland and Victoria. Modo offers a wide variety of reliable transportation options that are flexible and convenient, while reducing costs and administrative headaches.

How to register your department

Step 1: Assign a Departmental Liaison (to liaise with Modo to confirm registration of new drivers on the account; to orient new drivers and distribute fobs and Welcome Packages [alternatively, if desired, new drivers can receive these directly by mail instead]; and, to review/pay invoices each month.)
Step 2: Email Modo at business@modo.coop to register your department under FHA, PHC, PHSA or VCHA enterprise account.
Step 3: Complete a short registration form and set account preferences

Costs to register

The $250 security deposit has already been paid. Departments only have to pay $10 registration fee for each driver they add to their account (will appear on the next invoice). Departments will be invoiced each month to pay for staff trips made on the account.
