Tag You’re It! One week left to enter
Health care providers and other staff members who have regular in-person contact with patients, clients and families are being provided with new magnetic or pin-on name tags as standard equipment.
Distribution of the tags began in May 2016 as part of Professional Image—First Impressions Count, guidelines for maintaining a professional image at work. The guidelines aim to improve the patient/client experience through better identification of health care providers. More

Have fun with your new name tag by entering the Tag You’re It photo contest before September 2. Send us a photo of you, or you and your work friends, with your name tags on and we’ll enter you into a contest for these prizes:
Best Selfie (photo of just you)
- $25 Visa gift card
Best Buddy (photo of you and a work buddy)
- Two $25 Visa gift cards
Best Groupie (photo of more than two, less than 15) EXTRA POINTS for including various disciplines (physician, allied, nursing) in your groupie!
- Coffee and treats for up to 25 people delivered to your work area

How to enter
- Take a selfie, bestie or groupie with name tags on.
- Email your photo to news@vch.ca before September 2.* (Include work location or program).
- We pick the best photos from each of the three categories above.
- Winners announced in VCH News on September 8.
*By emailing your photo you agree to have your photo published on vchnews.ca which could be shared via social media.
I didn’t receive a name tag, can I still enter?
