15 Years of Care survey: Win some VCH schwag
Over the past couple of months, you may have seen evidence of VCH’s latest milestone, an online photo gallery and travelling photo exhibit celebrating the organization’s 15-year anniversary by featuring special individuals who have been here for the whole ride. Their vibrant photos and stories represented the thousands of individuals who have also worked here for 15 years or longer.
If you saw the 15 Years of Care photos online or in the exhibit, we’d like to know what you think in this very short survey. If you want, enter your email address at the end for a chance to win some sweet VCH schwag!
Thanks for your valuable feedback and for all of your hard work. Here’s to another 15!

I agree with Laura about the being mentioned part. There are many more of us who are nestled in the intricate woodwork of VCH. I attended the 25yr marker a few years ago. I was disappointed that it was such a meagre affair. I do not feel appreciated. I have even felt disadvantaged by certain “supportive practises”.
There were few seats and fewer tables and we had to juggle the little food and refreshments as well as stand around for the ceremonies which did not really include the majority. Are we not on our feet enough at work and do we not have to make do in so many ways in the health sector.
We are not given any priority even when we have to attend ED for a mishap at the worksite, but as usual the so called policy makers are considered dignitaries and given more privileges. There is your two tiered system: the haves and the have nots.

I thought it was great to read about other employees who have been here for more than 15 years!
Sure would be nice if employees who have worked for VCH/NSH?LGH longer than 15 years are recognized for their service, by their Managers or Directors.
When I attended my 20 year recognition event, we weren’t even called up to shake our Manager or Directors hand! It was pretty hooky:(
