The Clinical and Systems Transformation (CST) project is getting ready for its first implementation at VCH Coastal sites, including Lions Gate Hospital and the Sea-to-Sky corridor. This means we have some new, exciting opportunities for you to help make a significant impact on the future of health care delivery for patients and health care providers. Plus, you will get a head start on learning the Cerner system and share your knowledge with colleagues before implementation at your own site.
Nursing – registered nurse, registered psychiatric nurse, licensed practical nurse
In these roles, you will be trained to serve as a peer mentor to front-line clinicians as they make the transition to the new Cerner clinical information system and the shared clinical practices and workflows that it supports.
We are looking for nurses in the following clinical areas:
- Palliative
- Medicine/Surgery
- Operating Room
- Emergency
- Mental Health
- Endoscopy
- Surgical Day Care
- Post Anesthetic Recovery
Nurse instructors
In this role you will partner with Managers, Clinical Educators and leadership to develop and monitor educational guidelines, policies and procedures. You will play an integral part in the ongoing learning and evaluation process for CST.
