Join the ERNT: Be a clinical leader while providing direct care!
Are you looking to advance your clinical and leadership skills? Join the Coastal Experienced Resource Nurse Team (ERNT) and work at a leadership level four (higher wage) while providing direct patient care across multiple in-scope inpatient units at Lions Gate hospital.
The ERNT has been successfully implemented at three sites; Lions Gate Hospital, Richmond Hospital, and VGH and provides increased support for staff and new grads and experienced relief for specific in-scope units.
A new cross-site ERNT team will soon be established for Coastal in August 2017. There are two cohorts beginning first with Sea to Sky (Whistler and Pemberton), Squamish and Lions Gate Hospital. The second cohort will join the current ERNT for Lions Gate Hospital. An enhanced collaborative leadership team including representatives from EE (Scheduling and Clinical Education) and clinical managers and director from Coastal has been formed to lead and support the successful implementation and sustainment of the new and current ERN team.
