NEW: Online access to pension information
BC Pension Corp has a new member website which includes numerous online services for Municipal Pension Plan (MPP) and Public Sector Pension Plan (PSPP) members.
MPP or PSPP?
The majority of VCH staff are MPP members. However, some people may be grandfathered PSPP employees.
What are the features of the new website?
The online services provide members a one-stop shop to view benefit statements and perform a variety of self-serve updates to profiles and plans; including but not limited to:
- Personal and spousal information
- Address changes
- Nomination or change of beneficiaries
- Retirement estimator
- Online retirements and information to manage your pension through other life events.
VCH staff can discover the benefits of member services by taking the free, 15-min eLearning course Getting to Know Your Pension. Other Free Workshops: Making the Most of Your Pension and Approaching Retirement are also available. Members can register on-line.
How to register online
- Municipal Pension Plan (MPP) members visit mpp.pensionsbc.ca, click Your pension.
- Public Sector Pension Plan (PSPP) members visit pspp.pensionbc.ca, click Your pension.
- You can register under “My Account” to take full-advantage of the services, you will need your Person ID (PID) # and SIN # available to register. Your PID# is published on your annual pension statement and also available by contacting:
