First prototype of VCH ROO at the Innovation Fair
The first prototype of the redesigned online orientation (ROO) for VCH new employees was publicly shared at the Innovation Fair on February 28, 2018. This immersive website (a first for VCH) was very well received! Feedback included comments on the learner-specific streams, ease of navigation, intuitive and interactive design.
Benefits of the new online orientation
The new online orientation will be grounded in VCH values and built to reduce time required to complete and to increase learner retention. It will be a centralized immersive website to welcome new employees with content to socialize, train, inform and outline resources all to help them in their onboarding and beyond.
This redesign project is being led by Learning Technologies and Clinical Education, in collaboration with subject matter experts across the organization (including new hires themselves!).
