North Shore staff awards draw full house and plenty of excitement
VCH staff and physicians from across the North Shore packed the Lions Gate Hospital gymnasium to see their colleagues honoured at the recent 6th Annual LGH Foundation North Shore Health Care Awards for Outstanding Achievement.They didn’t go away disappointed as each of the 38 people nominated were saluted for their efforts and a celebratory mood reined throughout the event.
The program encourages North Shore colleagues to nominate and recognize one another for going ‘above and beyond’ to achieve outstanding results in three areas: Workplace Inspiration, Leadership, and Clinical Practice. A fourth award for Spirit of Philanthropy is chosen separately. The nominees for the various categories were:
