New patient food services director for Lions Gate Hospital and Evergreen House

Chelsea Bruce has been promoted to manage food services at Lions Gate Hospital. She began transitioning effective June 17th, 2013.

Chelsea holds a BSc in Nutritional Science from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Manager (CSNM). Prior to this promotion, Chelsea assisted with the opening of Hiltop House in Squamish, and was the Patient Food Services Manager/Supervisor for various VCH and/or PHC sites including Holy Family, Kiwanis Care, Lions Gate Hospital and St.Mary’s Hospital. Chelsea also assisted with the LGH and EGH meal distribution systems conversion back in 2011 and 2012.

It has always been a wish of Chelsea’s to return to Lion’s Gate Hospital to work. She is very happy to be here and she brings positive energy, enthusiasm, experience and patient/resident focus as a priority with her. She can be reached at chelsea.bruce@sodexo.com or 604-984-3753.
