On Saturday evening on December 21st 2013 my husband brought me to the Whistler Health Care Centre with an abdominal blockage. I have an ileostomy and I was dehydrated, suffering from nausea and severe pain.
The care I received at Whistler Health Care Centre was fantastic. I saw Dr. Lewis who set my mind at ease and within minutes of arriving I was on fluids, Buscopan and anti nausea meds. I had an x-ray and blood was taken. I was able to return to our son’s place where we were staying for the holidays that night rather than spend the night sitting in an emergency room in pain.
I just wanted to let you all know how much my husband and I appreciated your compassionate help and excellent services. Blessings on you and your wonderful hospital.
