LGH Foundation hosts staff fun and launches NOW Campaign this Friday
Come join the fun and festivities at Lions Gate Hospital tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 14) at noon as the LGH Foundation celebrates the launch of the NOW Campaign in style in the LGH Main Lobby.
The new campaign is targeted at building a new Outpatient Care Centre and contemporary atrium lobby – the heart of LGH. As part of the celebration, you can contribute to the new campaign in a wide variety of fun ways, some as easy as just eating and drinking and grooving to the live music!
Some of the activities taking place between noon and 1 pm on Friday include:
Eating & drinking – Sodexo has kindly offered to donate $1 from each entrée sold on Friday and Mehri’s Coffee Bar will donate $0.25 from the sale of every grande and venti coffee.
Employee giving – with a rewarding number of ways of giving, staff or physicians can:
- Give Change for Change – you can donate your change to help support change at LGH and receive a FREE notepad or lanyard and get to sign your names on the NOW poster.
- Sign up for Employee Giving – by enrolling in payroll deductions to the Foundation, you’ll be entered, along with our current employee donors, to win a $550 BodyCo gift card.
- Contribute by learning about earning – for every person who participates in a 30-minute financial literacy session on topics such as TFSAs, wills, estate planning and insurance, FS Financial Strategies will donate $100 to the Foundation. - Get in to the Christmas spirit – by buying LGH Foundation Christmas cards with great designs by local artists.
- Connecting with the Foundation – the first 20 people to show LGH Foundation staff that they follow the Foundation on Facebook, Instagram or twitter will receive a FREE pair of sunglasses.
