Next week’s North Shore awards add game show fun to staff recognition

This year’s North Shore Health Care Awards for Outstanding Achievement will feature a new twist next Thursday when MC Dr. Allan Burgmann introduces a game show theme to this prime time occasion.

Designed to celebrate the great work done by clinical staff, physicians and other health care professionals across the North Shore, this Lions Gate Hospital Foundation event is one of the highlights of the LGH calendar where close to 40 people will be recognized for their contribution to patient care in the area.

While all of the nominees are heroes in their coworkers’ eyes, three people will be honoured specifically in the categories of:

• Workplace Inspiration
• Clinical Practice
• Leadership

The game-show-inspired event will be modeled after the show, Deal or No Deal, and is guaranteed to be an Emmy Award-winning episode that you can be a part of in the LGH Gymnasium on:
