Older Adult Mental Health conference returns to North Shore
The highly successful Geriatric Psychiatry Conference of the North Shore is almost ready to wrap up registration for its third annual event, taking place at from 0830 – 1630 hours at the Lions Gate Hospital Gym on Feb. 27, 2015.
The event, presented by North Shore Older Adult Mental Health offers a wide variety of unique programming on key topics such as:
- Adult Guardianship Act-Capability Assessments
- Addictions in the Elderly re: Alcohol
- BPSD in Dementia
- A panel discussion on Mental Health and Addictions and Community Partners on the Circle of Care for the Older Adult client
The hard-working
Programming for the day has been based on feedback from attendees of the two previous events, with the Organizing Committee preparing for more than 200 participants to take part in the full-day session. The top-notch presentations and low cost ($25 per person) are two big factors that have contributed to the popularity of the conference.
