Keeping Health Sexy on the Sunshine Coast

Last week, Sunshine Coast Public Health nurses and a Nurse Practitioner joined forces with the local secondary schools to promote Sexual Health Day on February 12, 2015.

Aligning with Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights Awareness Week (Feb 9 – 13), the nurses took advantage of the opportunity to share health promoting information with the students and staff, as well as highlight local sexual health resources.

This initiative is in keeping with the comprehensive health curriculum offered through all provincial schools which is supported by local Public Health services.
