Celebrating Pharmacy Awareness Month
Did you know that March is Pharmacy Awareness Month? Pharmacy Awareness Month (PAM) is a national campaign held each year that celebrates the Pharmacy profession and recognizes the many ways in which pharmacists and pharmacy technicians collectively contribute to the care, health and wellness of patients.
The Pharmacy Departments within the Coastal Community of Care are staffed with dispensary and clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants. As Pharmacy team members, we strive to ensure that all the patients we serve receive appropriate, safe, and effective medication therapy.
Pharmacy will be organizing various activities in March to recognize PharmacyAwareness Month. These may include a Twitter campaign and information pamphlets or posters for patients and fellow hospital staff.
