New campaign takes an eye-catching look at helping make miracles happen

A recently launched Lions Gate Hospital Foundation campaign is taking a unique look at some “wild” animals that has staff and potential donors taking notice.

The eye-catching visuals being used for the “Helping Miracles Happen” promotions are in support of the Foundation’s LGH NOW campaign, aimed at raising $7M for a revamped LGH Outpatient Care Clinic and Atrium. The images are the custom work of California artist John Lund and are a notable change from previous campaigns.

“Given the active, outdoors-oriented nature of so many people on the North Shore, we wanted our campaign to reflect their lifestyles,” says Louise Campbell, Foundation Director of Development.

“And people have reacted really well so far,” she adds. “Lots of attention, from young visitors to older ones, and plenty of smiles which are great to see in a hospital. Who can help but smile when you see a lion riding a mountain bike or an elephant waterskiing?”
