Sodexo served up a 3-course meal, which included a tomato and arugula summer tart appetizer, for Evergreen House residents who have no opportunity to dine out. It’s one of four dining events Sodexo hosts every year for the patients. The next one is scheduled for late fall.

An evening out for Evergreen House residents

On August 25th, Sodexo at Evergreen House hosted a Summer Bistro. The Bistro event is a three-course fine dining experience for residents of Evergreen House and their guests. The dinner was held in the Terrace Café and accommodated 62 guests. Thanks to Evergreen House manager Susan Gooding, the meal was complemented by beautiful piano playing by music therapist Gail. All guests had the choice between prawn skewers or BBQ ribs, both options were delicious. This event gives residents,  who may not be able to visit a traditional restaurant, the opportunity to have a night out.

“Congratulations on another successful event and a good night out.” – 1 South Resident

“The meal was heaven, just delicious!” – 2 South Resident

“The piano was wonderful and it really added something to the event.” – Guest of 2 North Resident

“Thank you very much for making it possible to have a lovely dinner with my mother!” – Daughter of 1 North Resident
