Staff Kudos: ‘Compliments due’ for Lions Gate Hospital ED staff
A woman who recently accompanied a friend to Lions Gate Hospital’s Emergency Department after a traffic accident has nothing but praise for staff who she described as dedicated and supportive. Here is her letter:
Compliments due!
I spent a recent Thursday evening and Friday morning in the First Aid department of the Lions Gate Hospital Emergency Services.
I cannot congratulate the hospital staff enough on the level of respect and consideration they offered my friend who was involved in a traffic incident.
No matter what my inquiry or need, I was greeted with support, compassion and generous assistance. The harmony between the doctors and support staff was kind and respectful. They also acknowledged the important role of friends who came to the aid of the injured patient.
I have to thank the skillful management plans that allow the staff to remain patient and respectful. I even had a flashing desire to go back in time to be a part of such a supportive environment on behalf of the public.
I only wish I had $1 million to donate toward supporting such dedicated staff!
I have visited Russia twice in recent years and all I can say is thank God I live in Canada.
Sincerely,
