Two training sessions at Lions Gate Hospital are available to VCH staff in July and August to learn more about how the emergency response management system functions.

Audience:

Managers, Directors, Executive Directors, Executives, Admin On-Call, Physicians, Admin Assistants, Site Leaders, Acute Emergency Management Workgroup members, Community Emergency Management Workgroup members.

You will learn:

  • The emergency response management system used by the Health Authorities and other agencies throughout British Columbia
  • The purpose and organizational structure of a Health EOC
  • The responsibilities of the primary functions within a Health EOC
  • The common activities and processes within an EOC
