North Shore firefighters donate $15k to LGH’s Emergency Department

Firefighters from the City and District of North Vancouver (Locals 296 and 1183) donated $15,000 to support the work of the Emergency Department trauma team at Lions Gate Hospital.

The funds, which were raised from public donations during the Annual Park & Tilford Hi-Light Festival in December, will be used to purchase equipment for the resuscitation room. The fire fighters have been long-time supporters of the Lions Gate Hospital Emergency Department for many years and have donated thousands of dollars to support the care of the most critically ill patient that arrive in the Emergency Department.
