I am pleased to announce that Barbara Radons has accepted the position of Nurse Practitioner at Minoru Residence. Barbara joins us from the Fraserhealth Authority where she worked for six years in Community Geriatrics with the Home Health and Older Adult Programs.
Barbara has worked as a nurse for 30 years; primarily in acute care, including Acute Medicine, ICU, CCU and the Emergency Department at St Paul’s Hospital. She obtained her NP training at the University of Victoria, graduating in 2005 with a Master of Nursing Degree. Barbara has a primary geriatric focus with special interest in primary health care of the older adult along with end of life and dementia care.
