ShakeOut has come and gone for another year and we thank you for making it a success in the Richmond Community of Care! The relevance of the exercise was further underscored by the two nearby earthquakes.
A recent posting on Mike Nader’s blog talked about the importance of having a personal emergency plan and kit – especially for healthcare providers. Readers who have them were invited to enter their name for a chance to win some great supplies to add to their earthquake kit, including a first aid kit, radio, flashlights, light sticks, foil blankets and a whistle.
We are extending the deadline for the draw to November 7th. You have seven more days to get your plan and kit together, and post your name (and share an experience if you wish) on the blog for your chance to win.
Congratulations to PACU & SDC in Richmond on winning the Coffee Party!
