Rich appointed program manager for Emergency
I am pleased to announce that Rich Dillon has accepted the position of Program Manager – Emergency, Short Stay Unit and Cardiopulmonary Clinic at Richmond Hospital on a permanent basis, effective immediately. Rich will also oversee the Neurodiagnostic, General Internal Medicine and Cast Clinics.
Rich has been an employee of Richmond Hospital for over 13 years, serving various roles including that of general duty nurse, Staff Support Coordinator, Patient Care Coordinator and Clinical Educator. Rich has served as interim manager – Emergency for the past 5 months. Although a short duration, Rich has led lean improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiencies, patient care and the patient experience.
Rich brings to this role a high standard in care delivery, a passion for emergency nursing, and a thirst for ongoing learning. His strong relational skills, respectful and engaging communication style, and breadth of clinical knowledge prepare him well for this challenging role.
