Annual “Community Cares Day” this Saturday
On Saturday, September 28th, Richmond Hospital Foundation is holding its 6th annual Community Cares Day to support Richmond Hospital. This event-driven day will help raise awareness about the importance of local health care in Richmond and help raise funds for our hospital.
This Friday, September 27, Richmond Hospital Foundation invites all VCH-Richmond staff to drop by for cake and a group photo around noon in the hospital atrium (where Starbucks is located) to kick off the event at Richmond Hospital. Please come wearing your scrubs or lab coats and show your support for this event to help raise funds.
Community Cares Day events this Saturday include Fairchild TV programming from 8 pm – 10 pm, all day radio broadcasts on Fairchild Radio (AM1470 an FM 96.1) and CHMB AM1320, and supporter booths at Richmond Hospital, Aberdeen Centre, Ironwood Plaza, Lansdowne Centre, and Richmond Centre.
Our street team will also be waving signs and encouraging the community to call in and donate around Gilbert Road and Westminster Highway. There will be a at the gravel parking lot on the north side of the hospital gravel parking lot (Westminster Hwy), with 15 percent of that day’s proceeds going to Richmond Hospital Foundation.
