Hot Off the Press: Healthy Together Booklet
The 2013 version of our Healthy Together information booklet has been published in both English and Chinese. Individual copies can be downloaded through the PHEM Resource Catalogue; larger quantities are available at a small cost.
Healthy Together is a compact, comprehensive directory of all health services in the City of Richmond provided directly by VCH Richmond or by contracted agencies. The booklet was launched in 2002 by the Richmond Health Advisory Committee(RHAC) and is updated every two years. Through their connections with community, the committee had listened to residents when they asked for a complete, easy-to-access directory of health services. As a result of this request, Healthy Together was born.
A directory like Healthy Together requires a tremendous amount of time and effort to put together and we would like to thank the many staff who took the time to review their sections of the directory to ensure the content is accurate and up to date. Volunteer support was also key to getting the booklet updated and special thanks to Diane Baker who spent countless hours contacting staff to get the most updated information. Special thanks goes to Else Woo, from VCH Patient Health Materials for laying out the content.
