Kathy Wong retires

Friends and colleagues gathered yesterday to celebrate the many admirable characteristics and impressive achievements of Kathy Wong, as well as to thank her for her many years of service to Vancouver Coastal Health and to wish her a happy and healthy retirement.

Many shared entertaining and inspirational stories about working with Kathy over the years and, though the stories were different, the themes of a strong team leader and collaborative approach came up time and time again . When everyone took turns sharing a word or phrase they felt best captured Kathy, the following came up: engaged, hard worker, fast, good problem solver, collaborative, compassionate, patient centred, amazing leader, strong lean ambassador.

She has been a valuable team member and will definitely be missed.
