3 Medicine Sub Acute tops hand hygiene compliance list for November

Congratulations to the staff and physicians on 3 Medicine Sub Acute. The unit earned the highest hand hygiene compliance rate for the month of August . . . an impressive 80 per cent!

Hand hygiene compliance overall at Richmond Hospital sat at 73 per cent for the month of November, and 74 per cent for October.

Hand hygiene audits:

Hand hygiene audit rates are based on the percentage of staff who practiced hand hygiene before and after patient care, as seen by hand hygiene auditors.
