Urgent need for volunteer drivers

Better at Home provides transportation, friendly visiting, and light housekeeping services to local seniors. But to run Better at Home, Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives need to expand its roster of willing and able volunteers – and fast!

Specifically, Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives is looking for volunteer drivers who can bring seniors to medical appointments, community events, and recreational activities. Last year, drivers completed 1,236 trips. If that sounds like a lot, it is! And this year is shaping up to be much, much busier.

So if you, or anyone you know, can help, Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives would truly appreciate it. You’ll be making a significant difference in the lives of seniors, who, thanks to you, will be able to remain independent and connected to the community.
