Food Bank donation boxes at Richmond Hospital

The one-man Richmond Food Bank donation drive is now in full swing across Richmond Hospital.

This week, Steve Schierbeck, supervisor, Facilities Maintenance & Operations, Richmond Hospital, placed Food Bank donation boxes across 19 hospital units. Schierbeck will collect donations regularly and deliver directly to the Richmond Food Bank.

“Anyone that has a donation, but is unable to find a box, should feel free to email me and I will personally come retrieve it,” Schierbeck said, adding financial donations are also encouraged with cheques made payable to “Richmond Food Bank.” Schierbeck will also pick up any cheques personally as well.
