“Great care in Admitting and Ambulatory Daycare”
Another happy patient who experienced wonderful care via Richmond Hospital’s admissions process through to a successful day surgery…
My arterial biopsy was booked at Richmond Hospital within 2 weeks of being told that I needed one.
On the day of my procedure, I arrived at Richmond Hospital at 11 a.m., and was admitted promptly. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and referred me through to Ambulatory Care. There, Jill, my nurse, saw me early, got me settled, and explained what would happen with the biopsy. Shortly thereafter, a 3rd year medical student came in and we talked. She was very interested and kind (sorry, forgot her name). During this time, Jill had already set-up the room, and Dr. Houston arrived promptly and we got started. By 11:50 a.m. I was out the door home and on my way home.
Throughout my procedure, Jill, Dr. Houston and the 3rd year resident were great and supportive.
I have been a RN for 45 years; 30 of which at Fraser Health. I thought I got the very best of care at your Richmond Hospital.
Great job!
Sincerely and thank you
