Graham Wickham
Graham Wickham has been part of the Biomedical Engineering team at VGH for 36 years. While the time he has dedicated to the hospital is impressive by any standard, it is his contribution during that time that makes him stand out as a truly exceptional individual.
The value Graham continues to have to the department and the people throughout the hospital that he serves is difficult to determine because of the quality, quantity and attitude that he brings to his daily activities. Fortunately he has agreed to stay on in a part time capacity, which will provide some opportunity for all of us to determine how we will manage when he leaves us permanently. The knowledge he has gained through the range of projects and programs over the years is impossible to replace, but we wish him the very best retirement possible, since he has thoroughly earned it.
