VGH Emerg vs ICU “Blood Off”

Time for some friendly & lifesaving competition!

VGH Emergency versus VGH ICU. The department who donates the most blood and has the most donations listed under their unit, will win $300 to spend on their department. A new coffee machine for the lounge perhaps?

We all know how many blood products we give in our line of work, and it all has to come from someone, so let’s step up and do our part and donate. Canadian Blood services are just up the road on Oak Street and it only takes an hour of your time to save a life. So grab your co-workers and earn some bragging rights for your department. Everyone can participate, nurses, LPN’s, care aids, physician’s, unit clerks, RT’s…either way, it’s a corporate challenge

To participate, donors must each register on the “Partners for Life” website, become a member and enter their departments ID when they are booking their times.
