Make mental health matter with local musician Bodhi Jones
On September 25, local musician Bodhi Jones is taking the stage to Make Mental Health Matter by raising awareness and funds for the new mental health centre at VGH. This charity fundraiser concert takes place at the new Vancouver Fan Club featuring live entertainment, great prizes and a 50/50 raffle draw.
Mental Health is a subject that is close to Bodhi Jones’ heart. Bodhi is one of the thousands of British Columbians who has experienced a form of mental illness during his lifetime. He also recently lost a friend who was suffering from schizophrenia.
Mental illness can affect anyone, at any time. Our community desperately needs a new mental health centre to improve patient care and you can help! Full proceeds from the event will support the new mental health building at VGH to be named the Joseph & Rosalie Segal Family Health Centre.

About the Make Mental Health Matter Campaign:
VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation is currently leading an $82 million campaign to create a new mental health centre at VGH. It will dramatically improve how patients are able to access care and the environment in which their healing takes place. Thanks to funding from the provincial government, a lead gift from philanthropists Joseph and Rosalie Segal, and significant gifts from other donors, we are close to making this project a reality with only $9 million left to raise.
