Discounted VSO tickets have arrived
Welcome to a new season of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra! Once again, the Volunteer Resources Department for VGH/UBCH/GFS & GPC, in partnership with Artsway and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra is proud to present all staff with the opportunity to attend the concert listed below for a minimum donation of $10 cash per ticket. This donation will be used to support Artsway and volunteer programs within our portfolio. Artsway is the presentation name of Health Arts Society, which is dedicated to bringing profession performing arts to audiences in healthcare sites.

British conductor and choral specialist Simon Wright makes his VSO debut in the first concert of the Chan Centre series. He will be leading the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the Vancouver Bach Choir in a performance of Poulenc’s stunning piece, Gloria!
During the second part of the evening, sit back and enjoy the VSO Principal Trumpet, Larry Knopp, as he brings his considerable talents to bear in a performance if Haydn’s E-flat Major Trumpet Concerto.

- Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
- You must accept the seats/section as offered.
- We do not accept orders over the phone, by email or mail them to other sites.

Please note: The VSO is a not for profit organization that needs financial support. Most support comes from the sale of tickets at full, advertised prices. If you feel you can buy tickets directly we urge you to do so. Please check out their website www.vancouversymphony.ca for a more detailed description and excerpts of the performances listed and other really great concerts. You may be surprised at how reasonable the cost for this and other concerts are for subscribers.
The next concert we have tickets for is on Saturday Nov 30th and features Strauss’ Don Quixote
