New TV and telephone rental system at VGH
Starting October 31, 2013, renting personal TV and telephone services at VGH just got easier.
Hospitality Network, in partnership with VGH, introduces a new automated TV and telephone rental system for all admitted patients at Vancouver General Hospital. Here are the highlights:
- One phone call is all it takes. To order television and phone service, patients simply dial 21047 from their bedside phone. Family members or friends may also call 1-866-223-3686 from any phone outside of the hospital during call centre hours to activate services for loved ones or family members.
- Credit cards accepted. Visa, MasterCard, as well as cheque and cash are accepted.
- Service transfers on request. Patients transferring to another inhospital bed can transfer their services to their new location by dialing 21047.
- Daily rounds by customer service rep. Hospitality Network’s customer service rep will continue making daily rounds to provide information to patients, families and staff, and to receive cash payments for those who can’t pay by credit card.
- Partial revenues returned! A portion of rental revenues is returned to VGH, so we appreciate your support with answering patient and family questions about the system.
