Lizzy Ambler new director of special projects
Please welcome Lizzy Ambler to the role of director, Special Projects for Vancouver Community. Lizzy brings seven years of experience with VCH as manager of the Pine Clinic and manager Public Health, Primary Care, Addiction Services programs at the Three Bridges Community Health Centre from March 2006 to the present. Prior to that she was the program manager for the Richmond Eating Disorders Program 2003-2006 and before 2003 she had experience working within not-for-profit agencies.
Lizzy has worked in close partnership with the primary care medical directors to ensure a work culture of respect, collaboration and excellence. She is committed to supporting the vision and goals of VCH and truly believes that people come first and relationship building is at the heart of all great teams.
In her role of director special projects Lizzy will play a key role in leadership and project management for strategic operational projects across VCH. These projects involve large scale reviews of practices, procedures and systems leading to the enhanced integration of services, better service delivery, improved customer satisfaction, development of new programs, and the delivery of cost efficiencies for VCH and partner organizations.
Lizzy’s first day will be January 2, 2014 and she will be located at 520 West 6th Avenue working alongside and in support to our VC operations directors.
