Art Studios sale and silent auction today

The Art Studios is a Vancouver Coastal Health community mental health unit located in Vancouver, BC, that offers youth, adults and older adults with mental illnesses and addictions the opportunity to recover through clinical intervention, art making, and participation in a safe social community. Come join our festive ambience and view the members’ work.

Ceramic products are one-of-a-kind creations created by hand-building or working on the wheel. The jewelry spans from  beadwork to fantastical mixed media creations. There will also be knitwear made by our membership and members from The Bright Spot, an Older Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation Services program A very talented choir, Voices Rising Ensemble will be performing at our event. In addition art demonstrations in various media including watercolour, acrylic painting, wheel pottery and hand-building are featured.

Remember to check out The Silent Auction where you can view donations by varied compassionate Vancouver businesses that are willing to make a difference within our community. Bid for any number of gifts and don’t forget our door prizes and raffle!  Profits from the Silent Auction go into The Members’ Fund. This fund pays for specialized art supplies and workshops.  Donations are welcome.   Please come out and support us!
