Trangender Health Fair runs next Thursday
The Transgender Health Information Program (THIP) would like to welcome staff and clients to stop in at our Health Fair for Transgender and Gender Diverse Folks and Allies on Thursday, December 5th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Robert and Lily Lee Family CHC (Broadway & Commercial).
This Health Fair is intended to give community the opportunity to meet Transgender Health Information Program staff and other service providers involved in transgender and gender diverse health.
VCH’s Transgender Health Information Program (THIP) is provincial in scope with its main function being to serve as an information hub. THIP assists people of all ages, including children, youth and families. The program also provides support to friends, family, physicians and other health professionals. THIP does not deliver any clinical or primary care services.
The Health Fair will feature THIP program staff, community agencies and service providers who are all involved in transgender and gender-diverse care. Everyone is welcome.
