VGH Thrift Store needs you
The VGH Thrift Store has been in operation since 2004. We started with the formation of the VGH emergency clothing fund in order to provide clothing to VCH patients in need. From there we blossomed into a volunteer-run thrift store. The VGH Thrift Store has donated over $125,000 to VGH and UBC Hospital since 2010 and we need your help to keep the donations coming.
Quality clothing, housewares, furniture and hardware
If you have unwanted or unneeded items that could be sold to benefit VCH patients, clients and residents, please bring them to the store located at 120 East Broadway. If you have large furniture that you no longer need, we may be able to come and pick it up!! Send a picture of your furniture to ac.zibwahsnull@erotstfirhtHGV and we will let you know if we can take it off of your hands.
Become a member of the VGH Thrift Store Board
The VGH Thrift Store is run by a society of board members, most of whom hold positions within VCH. If you are looking for an opportunity to develop your leadership skills in an environment that allows you to give back to your organization, look no further than the VGH Thrift Store! We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals to contribute to the board.
“I proudly say that I work at VCH because I care. Volunteering for the Thrift Store allows me to give back to my community while at the same time supporting what I care about most, our health care system.” Scott McCarten – Board President

Do you have parking space when we drop off items at the store?
Melanie
Hi Cynthia,
There is street parking directly in front of the store. If you need assistance, please let the cashier know and they can get some volunteers to assist you.
Thank you,
Melanie
