Gunshot survivor praises VGH team
Vancouver bicycle shop owner Paul Dragan was gunned down near his Yaletown shop on June 10, 2014. He recently told the Vancouver Sun that he believes he is alive and recovering today because of the skill of the VGH trauma team.
“When they brought me into the hospital, I was clinically dead and had no pulse,” Dragan told the Sun in an interview outside his bike store. “The doctors were very concerned about the lack of oxygen to my brain.”
“It’s a real testament to the trauma system at VGH and the skill of the people there that I’m here talking to you today,” Dragan said.
