VGH ICU rocks the Run for the Cure

A group of staff from the VGH ICU participated in the Vancouver Run for the Cure on October 5, 2014, and collectively raised $3,041.00 in support of breast cancer research.

The CIBC Run for the Cure is Canada’s largest single-day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, education and advocacy initiatives. As breast cancer is highly prevalent in health care workers, it is a cause worthy of attention and support.
