Faster than a speeding bullet?
VCH physicians and staff are turning into super hero Flu Fighters — and we have the video to prove it!
We’re fighting the deadly flu and you can, too. Staff flu clinics are here to help — but for a limited time only. Visit our map of special staff clinics at VCH sites.
If you can’t make one of our staff clinics, you still have many options to get a flu shot, including our many peer nurse immunizers working among us.
You also have the option to wear a mask starting December 1, 2014.
Report your immunization
Don’t forget to report your flu shot within two days of being immunized here. It takes less than one minute to self-report.
VCH medical staff (doctors, dentists, midwives and nurse practitioners), fellows and other regulated health professionals (scientific & research staff, podiatrists, psychologists, denturists, etc.) can self-report through one of the following methods:
- Online: https://medicalstaffhealth.vch.ca/
- Email: hcvnull@htlaehffatslacidem
- Phone: (604) 875-4111 ext. 69597
Thank you, HH Ambassadors!
November 3 to 7 is Hand Hygiene (HH) Ambassador Week at Vancouver Acute sites, and teams of Vancouver leaders — including our very own chief operating officer Vivian Eliopoulos — are out in force.
You can find our ambassadors dark and early (shifts start at 7 am) at various locations on the VGH campus, as well as at GF Strong and UBC Hospital. From 7 to 8:30 am, our HH Ambassadors are friendly well-wishers inviting everyone entering or leaving to use hand sanitizer — an important reminder given the early flu outbreaks we’ve already experienced.
