New lane closures at VGH
Starting August 31, 2015, there will be two phases of temporary lane closures affecting the Willow St. and 11th Avenue lanes within the VGH inner courtyard. The lane closures are part of the construction process for the new mental health facility, the Joseph and Rosalie Segal Family Health Centre (JRSFHC). This will not affect the current pedestrian passageway running along the construction zoned areas.
The Willow Street lane will be closed from August 31 – October 13, 2015. The Willow Street Lane runs north to south through the VGH courtyard, connecting West 12th and West 10th Avenues. You will not be able to drive through this area at this time.
From October 6 – 13, 2015, another temporary lane closure will happen near the Willow Pavilion, which will affect the 11th Avenue lane, the East/West corridor running in between the Heather Pavilion and the Health Centre. You will not be able to drive through this area at this time.
We recommend limiting your travel across the VGH inner courtyard during this time and using alternate routes when possible.
