Video: And the winners are…

Over the past month, staff have been asked what they would do if they won the Won! Vancouver 50/50 staff lottery. On Friday, two lucky winners were able to answer that question for themselves.

Congratulations to Jane Boal, a project coordinator with Business Initiatives and Support Services, and Jeff Unrau who works in the Integrated Spine Unit at VGH, who won over $5,000 each (Check out Jeff’s reaction in the video when he’s told he’s won)!

Thanks to all who participated in the lottery everyone’s a winner, as more than $10,175 from the draw will go towards acute and community patient/client needs through the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation. Over 2,100 tickets were sold to approximately 1,200 staff. New applications come in each week, which increases the amount available to be won.

The next draw is on December 24. Wouldn’t it be a great Christmas/winter holiday present if you won?

If you haven’t yet signed up, don’t wait! Complete the 50 50 Staff Lottery sign up form  and email it back to VCHStaffLottery@vch.ca by the end of today (December 3) to be eligible to win cash for Christmas/winter holidays and answer for yourself, “What would you do if you won?”
