On May 24, 2016, staff at Vancouver Detox/Daytox took part in an on-site demo and refresher on best practices for hand hygiene. The hand hygiene demos are just one small part of the preparations going on throughout VCH for the Accreditation Canada survey visit this September.

“The Glow Germ unit is a great visual teaching aid that’s fun, and also gets the point across really effectively,” said Sheila Browning, regional hand hygiene coordinator for VCH.
